  • Baskin-Robbins apparently invented the ice cream "Rainbow Sherbet" back in 1972, and can contain a variety of berries, citrus fruits, melon and more. It is said that sherbet along with ice cream was made from chilled wines and other juices in Alexander The Great's era. It was not called ice cream centuries ago but Water Ices.
