The Beau Bain Foundation
Several
charities and causes are near and dear to our hearts, in fact so much
so that we've decided to create a foundation so we can be more
opportunistic as new opportunities and needs arise. However, in
particular we are particularly passionate about programs assisting
those affected by domestic violence, blindness, and cancer.
Additionally, and in the spirit of "life balance" we are contributors
to various environmental causes, the arts, and advanced learning
programs for children.
From the beginning, Beau Bain has sought the best natural ingredients
from all over the world to bring you products to revitalize and
energize your natural beauty. While doing all of this Beau Bain also
strives to protect this beautiful planet and the people and wildlife that depend on it - not because it's fashionable - but based on the unrelenting belief that it's the only way to do business.
A portion of all of our sales are distributed to these important and worthwhile causes:
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV)
mission is to organize our collective power by advancing transformative
work, thinking and leadership in communities and individuals who seek
to end violence in our lives. NCADV believes violence against women and
children results from force or threat to achieve and maintain control
in intimate relationships as well as from societal abuse of power
and domination via sexism, racism, homophobia, classism, anti-Semitism,
able-bodyism, ageism and other oppressions. NCADV recognizes abuse of power in society can foster battering by perpetuating conditions that condone violence against women and children.
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization
dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves
and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research
and education.
The American Foundation for the Blind
(AFB) is a national nonprofit that expands possibilities for people
with vision loss. AFB's priorities include broadening access to
technology; elevating the quality of information and tools for the
professionals who serve people with vision loss; and promoting
independent and healthy living for people with vision loss by providing
them and their families with relevant and timely resources. AFB's work
in these areas is supported by the strong presence the organization
maintains in Washington, DC, ensuring the rights and interests of people with vision loss are represented in our nation's public policies.
The Whale Trust mission is to promote, support and conduct scientific research on whales and the marine environment, and develop public education programs based directly on results of scientific research. Whale Trust is committed to raising awareness

peer-reviewed scientific journals, professional conferences, television
and radio documentaries,
and popular publications, including books, periodicals and online
education programs. Research projects led by Whale Trust scientists
have resulted in over thirty scientific publications and thirty popular
publications. Whale Trust was founded in Maui, Hawaii in 2001 by three individuals with over 50 years of collective experience in whale research and marine education worldwide.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), with 68 chapters in the United States and Canada, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
